  • Academic background:
    • Direct PhD from bachelor's: First-class honours degree from QS Top 100 or domestic Top 10 university
    • Master's applicants: Excellent master's degree from top-ranked university and strong undergraduate record
  • GPA: ≥ 3.7
  • Language: IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no section below 6, within 2 years) or TOEFL ≥ 85 (within 2 years); English-taught master's may apply for language waiver
  • References: 2 academic recommendation letters
